My Grandad has a kind face.
My Grandad has a stern look.
My Grandad is generaous.
My Grandad looks shaved in the morning and bristly in the evenings.
My Grandad’s got geese.
My Grandad likes cats.
My Grandad bought me my first aftershave.
My Grandad took me to a proper man’s barber.
It felt grown up to get our hair cuts together.
My favourite thing in the day with my Grandad was to sit on his lap and drive his tractor.
It felt fun.
My favourite thing in the night with my Grandad was to sit beside him and watch his bonfire.
It felt warm and exciting.
My Grandad loves me and I love my Grandad.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
